The Department of Trade and Industry in the city of London has all the details you need to be using as a consumer to find out about your rights and also what is expected of you as a consumer in this state. Take advantage of this chance, and use the consumer advice line given to contact those in charge and ask whatever it is that you wish to find out concerning the development of the trade industry and how it affects you as the consumer. This is the only way you can be sure that you are getting ahead of yourself in a positive way and you will not fall into the traps of illegal consumer practices that have led to may being convicted in the law courts. Keep your mind focused into finding out only what is relevant to you and will help you determine your role as the consumer. Do not call to ask for retailer guidelines because this department only covers the consumer side, there is another department for the retailer as well as the manufacturer.
