Your job will be to test all types of electrical appliances, check if they are fit to be used by the person who owns it. And if there are changes to be done on the appliance, you let the owner know about them then give the possible solution for the problem. You will be using an equipment known as a pet tester. The device is meant for pat testing exercise. You will be installing the electrical machines, giving them an upgrade touch then wiring them if they need some. The testing is done routinely by the specialists for companies, residents and construction sites machinery. To be a professional her you will need electrical engineering training and test training. The health and precaution rules clearly state that all machinery should be tested and routinely checked to assure their users of safety while working with them. Evidence of testing will be shown by the certificate that the machine tested is given. When you go look for a job in a company and they show you their latest test certificate, then you can trust their machines. |

When winter weather hits, it's definitely time to turn on the heat. But I like to conserve my budget as best I can, so here are a few little things I do. First, I seal up the windows to prevent drafts. This looks a little silly but it is a huge help, especially in older buildings. Second, I cook and bake a lot more. I’ll even leave the oven open after it’s off to let that heat back into the kitchen. Plus it’s a nice little treat in the winter to always have fresh bread and cookies around. And third, I keep the heat low when I’m at work. There is no need to heat an empty house, and it’ll still feel warmer than outside. My apartment now is tiny, but if I had a bigger place, I’d probably keep the heat really low and use electric radiators sparingly in whatever room I’m in. No need to heat all those empty rooms. |

We aren't often given the option of free reign on building something straight from our minds to become reality. By freeing my mind of all restrictions and thinking of a dream house, the ideas begin pouring in. While many dream of the biggest house imaginable my "dream house" would concentrate on efficiency and only useful rooms would be built. I would have an indoor heated pool with a nice room off to the side with stand-up showers and towels available. My living room would be built with a nice theater system space and lots of storage space for DVDs and video game consoles. The bedroom would be a nice size but just big enough for a bed and night stands. The closet would be big enough to fit all of my and my husband's wardrobe so that clothes wouldn't have to be stored in the bedroom. Each room upstairs would have glass foldaway balcony shelves. The kitchen would have granite counter tops and all black utilities because it looks nice and polished, plus . Lighting would be all dome lights that don't build up cobwebs or dust like chandeliers can. There would be a walk-in closet by the entrance to place shoes and coats so they don't clutter the entryway. I wouldn't build a dining room because it usually sits and collects dust so the eating area would be built right off the kitchen. I would also have a nice bar to sit at with soft lights to resemble a clubwithout all the noisewhere I and my guests could hang out and have a pint. My house would have many open windows to let in lots of light but the windows would be built up high so people couldn't easily see into the house. The bathrooms would be rather old-fashioned, not built with stone which builds up mold easily but with smooth porcelain. The floors would be hardwood because they're easily vacuumed and carpets tend to get dirty. I would build the house out of sturdy brick which is charming and holds up well over time. |

Working in a team as a team is an essential requirement for any good business man to have this was the theme of the lesson professor Kara taught last week. She divided us into groups of ten each and gave us assignments to do. As students of the international business school, we had resources at our beck and call so it was not a problem. A group leader was elected immediately, the group leader delegated responsibility for every one of the ten members of the team. For me I was to research cost of rewire and it effect on the building budget of a corporation. I was to present it in a power point format and it was suppose to be a twenty page presentation with about forty references. During the course of the assignment I learnt a lot on what it means to work in a team, as our group leader was very mature and helpful even when we were not so easy to work with. One week later, we presented our work which was a combination of all our efforts and all got an A for the subject. |

Unfortunately my house does not have enough bedrooms to accomodate everybody that lives within it. Some of us are sharing beds or rooms. We even have one of those space saving staircases to eek out some extra space in our home. Firstly in the front bedroom, the largest, I would install room dividers, which would act like a wall to split the room into two bedrooms. Although I would then have to knock through a new door frame. There are also many more space saving options available now than when I first decorated my house, so I would take advantage of these as I prefer my house to be as spacious and clutter free as possible. In the garden the decing is starting to rot away due to being exposed to all weathers and being treated properly, so I would get rid of this and wait for a nice big lawn to grown through. Oh, and I would also remove the giant trampoline which has killed much of the grass underneathe it. The sofas also need replacing, leather would be my first choice, as we have pets and if they manage to sneak onto the sofas they leave hair everywhere. Leather sofas are much easier to vaccuum and clean. New sofas would lead to new carpet, as cat and dog hairs are deeply inbedded inour carpets it has left a distinct smell, which will never go away until the carpet is replaced. |

For quite some time now Lydia has been thinking of getting a house of her own. I guess this started when several of her office mates applied for housing loan and she somehow realized she wants that too. Lydia is single like me and though I have no idea where I'm going to be in the next 3 years Lydia on the other hand is confident she would have settled down by then hence the pull to get a house of her own. While she was reading for what seemed like the nth time on the housing loan's terms and conditions Ericka (her younger sister) was busy looking up information on electrical certificates. Ericka works part time as an online researcher and at that moment instead of helping her sister go through loan requirements she was looking up details on electrical certificates. From the concentration she is putting into this search I can only surmise one thing and that is the deadline for this project is very close and she is barely finished. Like her sister Erica has this tendency to procrastinate and only work on things at the last minute. |

A juvenile facility is supposed to be a correctional place for kids who have messed up and are being given a second chance to do things right. I have been there and that was a very scary place that I have ever been in. There were many kids who wanted to run away. There was even one who created a diversion using fire and he made it to the gate but he got caught. That caused the management to call a commercial electrician who was going to have a fire detection system installed in the juvenile facility. This scared other kids from doing the same thing. The same kids started another fire but this time it did not work because the system for detecting fire anticipated it. The commercial electricians did a good job and that kid had to face hi fears. That is when the management noticed that he was being abused by older kids and he was transferred to another sections and that is where we met and became very good friends till now. If there was one thing that he learned is that electricians who work on a commercial basis know what they are doing because their work is basically fire proof. |

People have been continuously asking me what I did to the house to make it look this good and I always say that it is all just a matter of proper lighting. The heat is back, no more of that blasted cold - it's time to have fun! In summer I like to go to amusement parks with my family and friends, or maybe I’ll go watch America’s pastime (baseball) at Fenway Park to watch our beloved Red Sox win some games. The next day I want to go visit some new places with my bike and some friends - who knows maybe go to New York too with enough time and money.
If I had some money, I would go south to Florida to get some sun on me, play some beach volley ball and admire the view of beautiful young girls in bikini then after a while I go and take a bath to take the heat of me. Another option would be going international to meet another country in the Caribbean or South America, or maybe I’ll just lie down at home under our gazebo and play some games. From simple to exotic, the possibilities are endless. |

I had never appreciated my wife until she left me and went to stay with her sister who were so protective of her and who did not like me because I broke their baby sisterrs heart. I know what I did was wrong and I miss her everyday and I always feel guilty of treating her really badly. I knew that the chances of her taking me back were slim but I had to try. Ever since she left the house has been very lonely. It is impossible to get anything done because as much as I bought everything in the house I do not know how to work them all harmoniously. The other day I blocked the sink and left the tap open. The whole kitchen flooded and there was a bad stench because of the block. I looked for the Home Plumbing number that my wife always kept at one of the kitchen cabinets and called them. They fixed the problem and also cleaned the kitchen by draining the water but at the end of the day, I still missed her. |

I also think that an electrician should ensure themselves against the common hazards and dangers that come with their job description. As a person who grew up in a family of architects and engineers, it is ironic that I do not know a lot about houses and buildings. I can honestly say that I am completely ignorant when it comes to these things. Maybe I know a little about color combinations and a little also about slating and tiling, but nothing more than that. So when friends ask me to help them, I tell them right away that I am not the person they think I am. They usually associate me with my relatives because we have the same last name. But really, I wish I was a little more like them. Unfortunately, I am not. I am better with marketing and strategies. That's why I pursued a career in advertising. I am still young and I know there is so much more that I should learn. But I hope that in time, I will be able to make a mark that is uniquely mine and mine alone. When that time comes, I'm sure mom and dad would be the happiest for me. |

Home improvement is necessary even in the midst of a questionable economy. The only criteria for purchasing something though is that it must be inexpensive and of good quality. Many manufacturers understand this and have made it a point to carry off brands at incredible prices. When it comes to exterior wood shuttersbe careful not to fall in such a trap. Everyone wants and at times need a good deal. There are many areas in life where being cheap is acceptable but not when it comes to the exterior of your home.
The whole purpose of home improvement is take make your home look better, safer and increase its perceived value. Sometimes spending money is necessary, no matter what we think about it. That does not mean we should pass a good deal by and dismiss it because one item is less expensive than the other. Everytime we hear or see the news we likely cringe or are forced to evaluate the safety of our homes.
