It's Always The Little Things We Seem To Forget posted on 3 April 2013 Every time we move it seems like we forget something. When I was a kid we moved all the time, we never lived in any one place for very long. Moreover, the one thing that was common throughout every move we ever made is that when we got where we were going we discovered we had forgotten something. Sometimes it was little things sometimes it was big things. One of the most common things that we seem to forget usually involved paperwork of some sort or another, like a time when we forgot the passports address change, and then when we were going out of the country a short time later we had to scramble to get it corrected. One time we even forgot the family dog. However, most of the things that we forgot were the little things like changes of address, memorabilia and knickknacks. Some places now offer checklists that are supposed to help you remember all of these things. Something like that sure would&rsquove come in handy for my family back when I was a kid.

A Fond Childhood Memory from 1998 on Our Caravan Holiday posted on 22 June 2012 Back in 1998 when I was a log younger and was just starting to grow up. I spent two weeks in a caravan with my nan and grandad. When you are younger your family seem to treat you very embarrassingly this coupled with the fact that a caravan is small, drove me crazy. I don't know how my dad bought this one as we'd looked at a lot of motorhomes for sale - including some Hobby Toskana motorhomes - prior to buying this caravan which were much more roomier. I was eight years old and by the end of week one, the tree climbing and gotten boring, I had met no new people and my game boy had just run out of battery. Back then Pokemon Red was the greatest game in the world, running around in "tall" grass catching Pokemon and training them up to be stronger. Blastoise was the best. End of. Tensions were high for me and to top it all off my nan would not buy me the sweets I wanted so I got upset and moody and complained about how life was "unfair". The last week however changed for me. A caravan opposite us and just pulled in and a girl stepped out. I later learnt that her name was Lucy. This turned my whole week around as I spent this last week meeting her and crazily playing around, climbing trees and stealing sweets from the sweet tin which sent us hyper. I have a picture which was taken back then of me and her. On my last day this photo was taken and I have never seen her again. Overall this all means that the caravanning holiday was amazing. From being completely bored to meeting a friend who changed all that.
